The return of Boucher offsets the potential absence of Barnes to some degree, but he isn't likely for extended minutes in what would be an early return. Christian Koloko started the second half for Barnes before being ejected on Saturday and Precious Achiuwa played 34 minutes in that game.

Fernando played 25 minutes in his opening-day start. Usman Garuba started for the Rockets on Saturday and played 25 minutes, effectively claiming his role in a one-for-one swap. Jabari Smith Jr. would likely play greater center minutes if Sengun is ruled out, creating more opportunities for KJ Martin and Tari Eason in the frontcourt.
