Washington Wizards News

Confirmed Lineup: Delon Wright, Bradley Beal, Corey Kispert, Kyle Kuzma, Daniel Gafford

  • Monte Morris (hamstring) — Out

  • Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) — Injured

Gafford fouled out in less than 25 minutes for a second straight game Tuesday. Deni Avdija stepped up with Porzingis out, Rui Hachimura no longer a Wizard, and Gafford unable to stay on the floor. He scored 15 points on three-for-five shooting from the field and nine-for-11 from the free throw line, secured 10 rebounds, and played 32.1 minutes despite coming off the bench.

Houston Rockets News

Confirmed Lineup: Jalen Green, Eric Gordon, KJ Martin, Jabari Smith Jr., Alperen Sengun

Tari Eason has started in Smith Jr.'s stead and played a similar role, logging 18.4% usage and a 16.1% rebound rate in 26.4 minutes per game. Green has registered 30.0% usage since Porter Jr. was injured, and he's one of 13 starters to log a usage rate of 30.0% or higher during that time.

  • Bobby Portis (knee) — Injured

Middleton was limited to 15.3 minutes off the bench in his return from an 18-game absence Monday, and his activity will gradually increase over time. Although Mamukelashvili will likely assume a backup center role in Portis' absence, Brook Lopez and reserve forwards should also play additional time.

Minnesota Timberwolves News

Confirmed Lineup: D'Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Kyle Anderson, Rudy Gobert

  • Rudy Gobert (groin) — Available

  • Taurean Prince (ankle) — Out

  • Jordan McLaughlin (calf) — Injured

  • Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) — Injured

Gobert should be expected to play despite another questionable tag. He returned Monday with no reported setbacks, contributing 15 points and 16 rebounds in 35.6 minutes before saying he felt good postgame. Minnesota recently gave questionable designations to Edwards, Gobert, and Prince as they have consistently played through various injuries.

  • Brandon Ingram (toe) — Available

  • Naji Marshall (toe) — Available

  • Dyson Daniels (ankle) — Out

  • Zion Williamson (hamstring) — Injured

Ingram will likely face a stringent minute restriction if cleared to play following a 29-game absence. That would minimize the impact of his potential return, though McCollum and Valanciunas would be asked to generate less offense in that event.

Atlanta Hawks News

Confirmed Lineup: Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, Bogdan Bogdanovic, John Collins, Clint Capela

  • De'Andre Hunter (illness) — Out

  • Onyeka Okongwu (hamstring) — Available

The Hawks have allowed the fifth-most points in the paint per game (53.8) this season and could be without De'Andre Hunter (illness). The Thunder have scored the third-most points in the paint per game (55.4) this season and scored 58 points in the restricted area during a 121-114 road win over Atlanta with Hunter sidelined last month.

  • Ja Morant (ankle) — Not on injury report

  • John Konchar (concussion) — Out

  • Steven Adams (knee) — Injured

  • Danny Green (ACL) — Injured

Tillman started in Adams' stead Monday in a departure from earlier in the season when Brandon Clarke assumed the starting role with Adams sidelined. Clarke and Tillman likely split center minutes fairly evenly if Tillman continues to get the starting nod, though Jackson Jr. could be utilized at the five against a smaller Warriors team.

  • Kelly Olynyk (ankle) — Injured

Portland Trail Blazers News

Murray has logged an 18.4% defensive rebound rate while averaging 9.3 boards and 37.4 minutes during the previous four games. He registered a 10.0% defensive rebound rate while averaging 3.8 boards and 28.6 minutes during his first 40 matches.

Josh Richardson and Malaki Branham should exceed at least 24 minutes if Langford is ruled out. Sochan has found his touch in the last three games, shooting six-for-seven (85.7%) from three and 10-for-12 (83.3%) from the free throw line. He shot 19.7% from three and 61.9% from the line during his first 38 games.

Los Angeles Lakers News

Confirmed Lineup: Dennis Schroder, Patrick Beverley, Troy Brown Jr., LeBron James, Thomas Bryant

  • LeBron James (ankle) — In

  • Anthony Davis (foot) — In

  • Rui Hachimura (coach's decision) — Available

  • Lonnie Walker (knee) — Out

  • Austin Reaves (hamstring) — Injured

Davis will be limited to 20-24 minutes Wednesday barring a setback during pregame warmups. Coach Ham neglected to say if James would play against the Spurs after James carried a significant workload during the first game of a back-to-back set. Davis and Hachimura could effectively assume most of James' workload if he's ruled out, though Schroder and Russell Westbrook would handle additional facilitating responsibilities in that event.
