Dallas Mavericks News

Confirmed Lineup: Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Tim Hardaway Jr., Reggie Bullock, Dwight Powell

  • Frank Ntilikina (knee) — Out

Hardaway Jr. has logged 20.7% usage while averaging 32.3 minutes and playing more time alongside Doncic and Irving during the last three games. Doncic registered reduced 36.0% usage, and Irving's usage declined sharply to 21.9% in those matches. That trend should persist: Irving (-5.9%) and Doncic (-4.1%) have posted negative usage differentials when both are sharing the floor with Hardaway Jr.

Miami Heat News

Confirmed Lineup: Gabe Vincent, Tyler Herro, Max Strus, Jimmy Butler, Cody Zeller

  • Bam Adebayo (hip) — Out

  • Kyle Lowry (knee) — Available

  • Nikola Jovic (back) — Out

  • Orlando Robinson (G League) — Out

Cody Zeller reclaimed backup center minutes after returning from injury and will likely start if Adebayo is sidelined. However, Zeller might not play extended minutes with Omer Yurtseven, Love, and potentially Haywood Highsmith factoring at the five in that event. Vincent (+4.3%), Love (+3.9%), and Herro (+3.4%) have posted the highest usage differentials on the Heat, while Herro has led the team with a +5.5% assist rate differential with Adebayo off the court this season.

Los Angeles Clippers News

Confirmed Lineup: Russell Westbrook, Norman Powell, Kawhi Leonard, Nicolas Batum, Ivica Zubac

  • Kawhi Leonard (injury management) — In

  • Eric Gordon (hip) — Out

  • Marcus Morris (health protocols) — Out

  • Brandon Boston Jr. (tailbone) — Available

  • Paul George (knee) — Injured

Coach Lue said he expects Leonard to play his full workload Saturday as he suits up on zero days of rest for the first time this season. Norman Powell got the second-half start after Gordon didn't return Friday, and Amir Coffey entered the rotation after Leonard didn't play in the second half. The degree to which Mann, Powell, and the reserves play extended minutes in Gordon's potential absence could depend on if Lue deploys Coffey.

New Orleans Pelicans News

Confirmed Lineup: CJ McCollum, Herb Jones, Brandon Ingram, Trey Murphy, Jonas Valanciunas

  • Jose Alvarado (leg) — Injured

  • Zion Williamson (hamstring) — Injured

The Pelicans have established a late-season defensive identity, posting the best defensive rating (108.7) as they've allowed the fifth-fewest points in the paint per game (47.1) during their last 15 contests. The Clippers have struggled against teams with top-ten defensive ratings this season, posting an 8-14 record while scoring the ninth-fewest points per 100 possessions (111.3). Additionally, Los Angeles' offense could be increasingly reliant on interior scoring if Eric Gordon (hip) is sidelined.
