Middleton has consistently sat out of one leg of back-to-back sets this season, and he's uncertain to play on Wednesday against the Pacers. The Bucks haven't struggled sans Middleton, as they've won four of the five games he's missed. After starting the season a bit slow, Middleton has stepped up his game recently, scoring 20 or more points in four of his last five appearances. If he sits, Lillard will likely be more involved in the offense, as he's seen a +4.9% usage rate increase in games without Middleton available.
Confirmed Lineup: Tyrese Haliburton, Bruce Brown, Aaron Nesmith, Jalen Smith, Myles Turner
Bruce Brown (knee) — Available
Andrew Nembhard (back) — Out
Brown has missed the previous five outings but could return from his extended absence. His final status is critical as the Pacers will need his defensive prowess against the Bucks, whose 126.1 Offensive Rating in December was the league's best. The Pacers' season-long Offensive Rating of 122.2 is the best of any team, but they also give up 124.4 points per contest, the second-most league-wide. Indiana won four of the last five outings sans Brown.

The Blazers have had lengthy injury reports recently, but some key players are starting to get healthier. Simons is scoring a career-high 27.1 points per game, and if he can return, he'll have a tough matchup against the Mavericks. Dallas is giving up the fifth-fewest points per contest to point guards this season, which could result in Grant being relied upon a bit more. However, Simons did play well in the Blazers' most recent game against the Mavericks, as he and Grant combined for 60 points.

LeBron James (illness) — In
Anthony Davis (ankle) — In
Cam Reddish (groin) — In
D'Angelo Russell (tailbone) — Out
Rui Hachimura (calf) — Out
Gabe Vincent (knee) — Injured
Before the most recent game, coach Ham noted that James, Prince, Hachimura, Vanderbilt, and Davis would be the starting unit for the "foreseeable future." Hachimura went on to get injured in that game, which resulted in Austin Reaves starting the second half as Reddish was sidelined. The Lakers likely want to keep Reaves in his reserve role, which should mean that Reddish will be reinserted into the starting unit. Reddish has averaged 8.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 20 games as a starter this season. He and the Lakers will face a Heat team that is without Jimmy Butler and could be missing multiple other players.
