Los Angeles Lakers News

Confirmed Lineup: D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, Taurean Prince, LeBron James, Jaxson Hayes

  • LeBron James (ankle) — In

  • Anthony Davis (Achilles, hip) — Out

  • Cam Reddish (ankle) — Injured

  • Gabe Vincent (knee) — Injured

James and Davis played in the first leg of a back-to-back set on Monday, and the Lakers lost by 16 points. The two and D'Angelo Russell each scored 23 points, but Rui Hachimura was the only other player to score in double digits. Defensively, the Lakers struggled, allowing 135 points to the Rockets. Los Angeles will now face Atlanta, whose 111.7 Offensive Rating in January has been the league's seventh-worst. If Davis can suit up, he'll have an inviting matchup, as centers have averaged 23.9 points per game against the Hawks, the sixth-most league-wide.

Atlanta Hawks News

Confirmed Lineup: Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, Saddiq Bey, Jalen Johnson, Clint Capela

  • Dejounte Murray (hamstring) — In

  • De'Andre Hunter (knee) — Available

  • Bruno Fernando (back) — Out

  • Vit Krejci (shoulder) — Injured

  • Mouhamed Gueye (back) — Injured

Indiana Pacers News

Confirmed Lineup: Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield, Aaron Nesmith, Pascal Siakam, Myles Turner

  • Tyrese Haliburton (injury management) — In

  • Myles Turner (back) — In

  • Bennedict Mathurin (toe) — Out

  • Jalen Smith (back) — Available

  • TJ McConnell (illness) — Out

Haliburton has missed 10 of the last 11 outings, and the Pacers have gone 6-5. Regardless of Haliburton's final status, Indiana will have a tough matchup against the Celtics, who have won 10 of 15 games in January. The Pacers faced Boston twice this month, splitting the back-to-back set. Bennedict Mathurin led the team in scoring in both outings, averaging 23 points per contest. It's worth noting, however, that Haliburton played just 13 minutes in one of those games.

Boston Celtics News

Confirmed Lineup: Jrue Holiday, Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Kristaps Porzingis

  • Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) — Available

  • Al Horford (neck) — Out

  • Luke Kornet (hamstring) — Out

Utah Jazz News

Confirmed Lineup: Kris Dunn, Collin Sexton, Simone Fontecchio, Lauri Markkanen, John Collins

New York Knicks News

Confirmed Lineup: Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo, Josh Hart, Precious Achiuwa, Isaiah Hartenstein

  • OG Anunoby (elbow) — Out

  • Evan Fournier (personal) — Out

  • Taj Gibson (signee) — TBD

  • Julius Randle (shoulder) — Injured

  • Mitchell Robinson (ankle) — Injured

Anunoby aggravated a pre-existing injury during warmups before the previous game and was ultimately ruled out. Even with Anunoby and Randle sidelined, the Knicks kept their winning streak alive, and they've now won seven consecutive games. They'll hope to have Anunoby return in the second leg of a back-to-back set against the Jazz, who have lost four of their last six outings following a six-game win streak. Utah will need an answer for Jalen Brunson, who has scored 30.6 points per game over his last five appearances. The Jazz have allowed the seventh-fewest points per contest (23.5) to point guards.

Toronto Raptors News

  • Zach LaVine (ankle) — Injured

  • Torrey Craig (foot) — Injured

  • Lonzo Ball (knee) — Out for season

Philadelphia 76ers News

Confirmed Lineup: Patrick Beverley, Kelly Oubre, Danuel House, Tobias Harris, Joel Embiid

  • Joel Embiid (knee) — Available

  • Marcus Morris (foot) — Out

  • Tyrese Maxey (ankle) — Out

  • Nicolas Batum (hamstring) — Out

  • Kenneth Lofton Jr. (shoulder, personal) — Out

  • De'Anthony Melton (back) — Injured

  • Robert Covington (knee) — Injured

The 76ers were without Embiid and Maxey in each of the last two games and lost both outings. With Embiid available this season, they've gone 26-7. When he's been sidelined, Philadelphia's lost nine of 12 games. They'll face the Warriors, who have lost eight of their last 11 outings and find themselves sitting five games under .500 on the season. If either Embiid or Maxey sits again, Philadelphia will need more production from Harris. He's scored just 11.5 points per game over the last two contests.
