Boston Celtics News

Confirmed lineup: Marcus Smart, Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford.

  • Danilo Gallinari (ACL) — Injured

  • Robert Williams (knee) — Injured

Gallinari will miss most of this coming season, which creates a need for additional minutes from Grant Williams and Sam Hauser. Additionally, expect Al Horford to man the center position with Blake Griffin backing him up while Robert Williams recovers from knee surgery for at least the next couple of months.

Los Angeles Lakers News

  • Anthony Davis (back) — In

  • Russell Westbrook (hamstring) — In

  • Thomas Bryant (thumb) — Out

  • Dennis Schroder (thumb) — Injured

  • Troy Brown Jr. (back) — Injured

Look for the roles of Westbrook, Walker, Patrick Beverley, Nunn, and Austin Reaves to be more secure while Schroder and Brown Jr. remain out. Additionally, Damian Jones and Juan Toscano-Anderson should be more firmly in the frontcourt rotation in Bryant's absence.

Golden State Warriors News

Confirmed lineup: Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Kevon Looney.

  • Patrick Baldwin (thumb) — Questionable

  • Andre Iguodala (conditioning) — Out

Baldwin Jr. is questionable for his debut, but he is on the fringes of the rotation even when healthy. Iguodala still needs time to condition himself for this season, which should provide additional opportunity for Moses Moody and Donte DiVincenzo on the wing in the interim.
