Confirmed Lineup: CJ McCollum, Herb Jones, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, Jonas Valanciunas

  • Jaxson Hayes (elbow) — Out

  • Kira Lewis (ACL) — Injured

Larry Nance Jr. received the backup center minutes with Hayes out on Wednesday, receiving additional time along with Trey Murphy and Naji Marshall.

Turner is set to miss at least a week with a sprained ankle. His absence created a three-man center rotation with Jalen Smith receiving 22 minutes ahead of Isaiah Jackson and Goga Bitadze. Terry Taylor received 24 minutes in the power forward start.

LaVine's absence created increased offensive opportunities for DeMar DeRozan and Ayo Dosunmu on Wednesday. DeRozan scored 37 points on 30.9% usage while Dosunmu submitted a 17-6-4 line on 17.7% usage.

Avdija left his opening game start after just eight minutes on Wednesday. After previously being ruled out on Friday, he is now active. Anthony Gill started the second half on Wednesday and he, Will Barton, and Rui Hachimura should see decreased time if Avdija is confirmed to start.

Anthony was scratched on Wednesday and subsequently missed practice yesterday. Jalen Suggs was elevated into the starting lineup as a result, and he, Franz Wagner, and Paolo Banchero should see role reductions when Anthony returns.
