Confirmed Lineup: D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, Taurean Prince, LeBron James, Anthony Davis
Jarred Vanderbilt (heel) — Out
Jalen Hood-Schifino (knee) — Injured
Prince beat out Vanderbilt and Rui Hachimura for the fifth starting spot, but coach Ham mentioned that the decision was "partly circumstantial" due to Vanderbilt's injury. Hachimura will have opportunities to impact the game off the bench alongside offseason acquisition Gabe Vincent.
Confirmed Lineup: Jamal Murray, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Michael Porter Jr., Aaron Gordon, Nikola Jokic
Michael Porter Jr. (ankle) — In
Christian Braun (calf) — In
Vlatko Cancar (knee) — Injured
Porter Jr. revealed it was a Grade 3 ankle sprain he suffered in training camp that kept him sidelined for all four preseason games. He is not on the team's injury report ahead of the season opener, however, and he and coach Malone both confirmed he will play. The team recorded a 122.3 offensive rating with Porter Jr. on the floor post-All-Star break last season.
Confirmed Lineup: Devin Booker, Grayson Allen, Josh Okogie, Kevin Durant, Jusuf Nurkic
Devin Booker (toe) — In
Bradley Beal (back) — Out
Damion Lee (knee) — Injured
Booker said he'll play and meanwhile, the team is being careful with Beal’s lower back situation. Preseason rotations point to Allen starting in Beal’s absence while Eric Gordon would be in line for an expanded offensive role off the bench.
Confirmed Lineup: Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Kevon Looney
Draymond Green (ankle) — Out
Paul logged at least five assists in each of his four preseason games and with Green remaining sidelined he'll get the start in his Warriors regular season debut. Jonathan Kuminga could also see an elevated role off the bench after an impressive preseason. He led the team in points (21.8) per game in five preseason games.
