Boston Celtics News

Confirmed Lineup: Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, Sam Hauser, Jayson Tatum, Kristaps Porzingis

Horford has not played both games of a back-to-back set since the 2021-22 season. The Celtics have gone 9-3 in those games Horford rested. In the lone back-to-back game Horford missed this season, no other Celtics rested after four of the five starters played at least 35 minutes the night prior.

Brown is currently dealing with a strained adductor, and Porzingis was seen hobbling toward the end of Sunday's win. Whoever is available will have an advantageous matchup as the Hornets possess a league-worst 122.3 Defensive Rating.

With Herro sidelined for the last five games, the Heat’s Offensive Rating improved by 10.0 points while their pace decreased by about 3.5 per 100 possessions. Lowry has not stepped up offensively, as his usage rate rose from a team-low 10.2% in the first eight games to a team-low 12.4% during Herro’s hiatus. His touches per game and touch time have decreased, and much of the offensive has flowed through Adebayo, Butler, and Robinson.

Westbrook played a season-low 18 minutes after sacrificing his spot in the starting lineup in Friday's win. His role reduction coincided with the addition of Daniel Theis. Since Harden made his season debut, Westbrook (23.6%) and Harden (18.6%) have produced career-lows in usage, and Leonard has posted a career-low 7.8% rebound rate. George’s usage has remained identical at 27.7% pre and post-Harden debut.
