Los Angeles Lakers News

Confirmed Lineup: D'Angelo Russell, Max Christie, Taurean Prince, LeBron James, Anthony Davis

  • Anthony Davis (adductor, hip) — Available

  • Cam Reddish (groin) — Available

  • Rui Hachimura (nose) — Injured

  • Gabe Vincent (knee) — Injured

  • Jarred Vanderbilt (heel) — Injured

James and Davis continue to be listed on each injury report despite missing a combined two games this season, and there shouldn't be much concern regarding their availability for the upcoming contest. Los Angeles should be able to find success regardless, as Detroit has been unimpressive. The Pistons have lost 15 of their 17 games, and their 109.6 points per game are the fourth-fewest league-wide. They allow the ninth-most points in the paint per contest (52.0), while the Lakers score the fifth-most (55.7).

  • Nassir Little (personal) — Out

  • Bradley Beal (back) — Injured

  • Damion Lee (knee) — Injured

The Suns were without Durant in the previous contest which contributed to Booker posting a team-high 33.3% usage rate and 28 points. Booker also recorded 11 assists in that game, continuing his uptick in that category. He's averaging a career-high 8.9 assists per game, the most he's recorded since the 2018-2019 season when he averaged 6.8 per contest.

Durant participated in Tuesday's practice, while Allen was not. However, Allen did mention that he feels better than when he missed the previous game.

  • Jordan Clarkson (thigh) — Available

  • Kris Dunn (personal) — Out

  • Lauri Markkanen (hamstring) — Injured

Markkanen didn't travel with the team for its current road trip, and he will miss at least the next two games before being reevaluated. Utah will play a back-to-back set on Wednesday and Thursday. They won the last two games despite missing Clarkson in one of those outings and Markkanen in both. Keyonte George led the team in usage rate (27.7%) over that span, and he could retain that increased rate depending on Clarkson's availability.

New Orleans Pelicans News

  • CJ McCollum (lung) — In

  • Trey Murphy (knee) — Out

  • Matt Ryan (calf) — Out

  • Larry Nance Jr. (illness) — Out

McCollum said on his podcast, The CJ McCollum Show, that he'll return to the lineup Wednesday. He was diagnosed with a small pneumothorax in his right lung on November 5 and was cleared to practice last week. He missed the past 12 outings. Over that span, the Pelicans' 114.7 Offensive Rating was surprisingly better than their 107.3 Offensive Rating in games with McCollum available. Ingram will likely receive less usage once McCollum returns after leading all Pelicans rotation players with a rate of 31.8% in his absence. He has a 27.5% usage rate with McCollum active.

Murray could return to the lineup after missing the last 11 games. Over that span, Jokic has had a team-high 35.3% usage rate. Comparatively, he had a 30.4% usage rate when Murray was available. The Nuggets have multiple players dealing with ailments, and their final statuses will be critical against a Rockets team that has been impressive through 15 games. Despite losing four of their last six, Houston has a top-ten Net Rating (+4.3) and a top-five defensive rebound percentage (73.1%). They've beaten the Nuggets twice over the last three weeks, including a 19-point victory two games ago.
