Charlotte Hornets News

Confirmed Lineup: Terry Rozier, Bryce McGowens, Gordon Hayward, Miles Bridges, Mark Williams

Ball is set to miss extended time after suffering a sprained ankle -- the same ankle that he surgically repaired last season. His absence will allow Brandon Miller to hold on to a starting spot, but Miller is now questionable with a sprained ankle. Terry Rozier recently returned from a three-week absence and has immediately jumped back into a heavy role with a depleted backcourt. If Miller is unable to suit up, Theo Maledon should see additional minutes while PJ Washington could return to the starting lineup.

The Heat continue to have a lengthy injury report with four players listed ahead of Thursday's contest. Butler has missed two consecutive games, and the team has utilized 12 different starting lineups in 18 games played this season. Kyle Lowry has led the team with a +4.11 usage rate differential with Butler off the court this season. Kevin Love drew his first start in November in the previous game and played 26 minutes -- his second-highest total since the first game of the season.

Chicago Bulls News

Confirmed Lineup: Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Alex Caruso, Patrick Williams, Nikola Vucevic

LaVine and DeRozan were both unable to return during Tuesday's blowout loss, but it remains to be seen if the injuries were the driving factor or the lopsided score. Caruso is once again on the injury report as the Bulls continue to list several players each game. Patrick Williams drew the start in the previous contest even with Caruso back in the mix. The starting unit would be severely depleted in offensive firepower if LaVine and DeRozan are ruled out. With both players off the court this season, Coby White has led the team with a +13.48% usage rate differential.

  • DeMar DeRozan (ankle) — Out

Minnesota Timberwolves News

Confirmed Lineup: Mike Conley, Troy Brown Jr., Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert

Edwards suffered a hip contusion after a dangerous fall in his previous game and is now expected to miss his first game of the season. He has been extremely durable overall, playing in at least 72 games in each of his first three seasons. The Wolves have been consistent with starting lineups, utilizing just two different variations thus far. Thursday's game will showcase a new starting five, with Troy Brown Jr., Shake Milton, and Kyle Anderson all in line for more playing time. Karl-Anthony Towns will step into additional usage after producing inconsistent field goal attempts on a daily basis this season.

San Antonio Spurs News

Confirmed Lineup: Jeremy Sochan, Malaki Branham, Keldon Johnson, Victor Wembanyama, Zach Collins

Despite injury concerns coming out of the draft, Wembanyama has played in all 17 games this season. There aren't many details on the severity of his hip injury that has led him to being listed questionable on the injury report. Sochan left the previous game after a knee injury but should be good to suit up with a probable tag. Wemby's potential absence could see Tre Jones draw a spot start. The defense could also take a hit, and the team already ranks 27th in Defensive Rating this season.
