In the previous outing sans Tatum, the Celtics didn't miss a beat as they converted 52.4% of their threes, scoring 66 points from beyond the arc. Brown led the team with a 35.5% usage rate, while Porzingis scored 24 points and added six blocks. With Porzingis set to miss the contest, Boston will likely insert Horford into the starting lineup. He'll have no easy task against a Clippers team that allows the third-fewest points per game to centers and has the league's ninth-best Defensive Rating (112.5).
Confirmed Lineup: James Harden, Terance Mann, Paul George, Amir Coffey, Ivica Zubac
Kawhi Leonard (hip) — Out
Moussa Diabate (hip) — Out
Mason Plumlee (knee) — Injured
George sat two games ago, while Leonard missed the previous contest. The Clippers won the outing sans George but lost to the Thunder when Leonard sat. Harden had a team-high 29.6% usage rate in that loss. Leonard is uncertain to play again, and his team could use his services against Boston. The Celtics are tied for most wins league-wide with 21, and their +9.1 Net Rating ranks second to only the 76ers. The Clippers have won nine of their last 10 games, and their 125.2 Offensive Rating over that span is the league's highest.

The Lakers have lost four straight, including the previous game when they were without James. After that outing, Davis acknowledged the team's recent struggles. "It's the NBA season. There's going to be ups, there's going to be downs. Right now we're in that down period," said Davis. "We just got to continue to fight and continue to play hard. Play with some effort, some energy and we're treating Saturday as a must-win." He also noted that he expects the team to be fully healthy for the upcoming game.

Dereck Lively II (ankle) — Injured
Josh Green (elbow) — Injured
Maxi Kleber (toe) — Injured
Doncic was sidelined for the first leg of the back-to-back set, and the Mavericks lost by 26 points. Jaden Hardy received a spot start in that contest and will likely do so again if Doncic remains out. Regardless of who starts, they should be able to find success against a Spurs team that gives up 27.5 points per game to point guards, the second-most league-wide. San Antonio has lost 21 of its last 22 games, and the last time Dallas faced them, the Mavericks put up 126 points in a win.

Confirmed Lineup: Mike Conley, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Kyle Anderson, Rudy Gobert
Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) — Out
Jaylen Clark (Achilles) — Injured
Towns went down during the fourth quarter of the previous outing and never reemerged from the locker room. After that game, coach Finch didn't have an update on Towns' injury but hoped it was not too serious. The extent of his injury remains unclear, but it's being called a sore left knee. In his absence, Edwards should have free reign in terms of usage. Edwards has seen a +1.9% usage rate increase when on the floor sans Towns this season. The Timberwolves will face the Kings, who give up the fourth-most points per game (23.8) to shooting guards and have a bottom-10 Defensive Rating (115.9).
Confirmed Lineup: De'Aaron Fox, Kevin Huerter, Harrison Barnes, Keegan Murray, Domantas Sabonis
Malik Monk (foot) — Out
Alex Len (ankle) — Injured
