In the last game sans Gordon, Josh Okogie got a spot start but scored just three points in 25.9 minutes. The Suns still won the contest, primarily because of Booker's performance, as he led the team in points (34), rebounds (10), and assists (7). He'll now match up against a Lakers team that has allowed the seventh-most points per game (25.3) to opposing point guards. Booker wasn't available for either of the two meetings with the Lakers this season, and Phoenix lost both games.
Confirmed Lineup: D'Angelo Russell, Cam Reddish, Taurean Prince, LeBron James, Anthony Davis
LeBron James (calf) — Available
Anthony Davis (adductor, hip) — Available
Rui Hachimura (nose) — Available
Jarred Vanderbilt (heel) — Available
Gabe Vincent (knee) — Injured
James and Davis are once again seemingly procedural listings on the injury report, as there is no real fear that either is in danger of missing the contest. Hachimura was active in the last outing after a four-game absence but didn't receive any minutes. He mentioned that he ultimately wasn't ready to go after surgery forced him to miss around a week, but that he thinks he'll play in this contest. Vanderbilt made his season debut in that last outing and played 13.7 minutes, and he will continue to be eased into action as the season progresses.
