The 76ers made numerous moves in the hours leading up to Thursday's deadline, including trading Marcus Morris, Furkan Korkmaz, and three second-round picks for Hield. They also traded away Patrick Beverley in exchange for Payne. While the latter move has layers, the former makes obvious sense for Philadelphia. Hield is a career 40.1% shooter from beyond the arc, and the 76ers' 36.2% three-point percentage is a bottom-10 mark league-wide.

Washington Wizards News

  • Jrue Holiday (elbow) — Not on injury report

  • Jayson Tatum (illness) — Available

  • Jaden Springer (ankle) — Out

  • Xavier Tillman (knee, traded) — Injured

If Tatum is ultimately sidelined, it would be his fourth missed contest. In games sans Tatum this season, the Celtics are 2-1 and have managed to score a shocking 131.7 points per game. Boston has a nice matchup against the Wizards, who have lost 12 of 15 games over the past month. The Celtics have the best Net Rating (+9.7) league-wide, while Washington's Net Rating (-8.8) is the second-worst of any team.

New Orleans Pelicans News

Confirmed Lineup: CJ McCollum, Herb Jones, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, Jonas Valanciunas

  • Zion Williamson (foot) — Available

  • Jonas Valanciunas (calf) — Available

  • Naji Marshall (back) — Out

With two starters uncertain to play, New Orleans could look for Ingram to carry the load offensively. During the Pelicans' current four-game win streak, Ingram has averaged 24.8 points per contest, shooting 56.5% from the field and 45.0% from beyond the arc. He'll face the Lakers, who he scored 26 points against the last time he faced them. Los Angeles presents a challenging matchup, as their 112.2 Defensive Rating in February is a top-10 mark.

Los Angeles Lakers News

Confirmed Lineup: D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, LeBron James, Anthony Davis

  • LeBron James (ankle) — Available

  • Anthony Davis (Achilles, hip) — Available

  • D'Angelo Russell (knee) — Available

  • Max Christie (ankle) — Out

  • Jarred Vanderbilt (foot) — Injured

  • Cam Reddish (ankle) — Injured

  • Gabe Vincent (knee) — Injured

Russell was not dealt before the trade deadline but missed the first leg of a back-to-back set. The Lakers lost that contest to Denver, and they'll hope to get Russell back for a matchup with the Pelicans. New Orleans is on a four-game win streak, and over that span, they've posted a top three Offensive (122.5) and Defensive Rating (106.9). The last time these teams met, the Pelicans won by 20 points as they got a combined 52 points from Ingram and Williamson.
