The Celtics are kicking off a back-to-back on Friday with this contest at Detroit. Boston travels to play Chicago on Saturday. With four major questionable tags ahead of this game, the Celtics will most likely be playing shorthanded beyond just Jrue Holiday out in some way.
Horford, of course, has yet to play both ends of a back-to-back all season. Logically, it stands to reason that Horford will play one of these two games, and Porzingis will play the other. Meanwhile, Pritchard has started for Holiday in two of Jrue's last three absences, including over Hauser on March 11 in a similar lineup situation, and he could do so again.

The Pistons will once again be rolling out a new first five in some way with recent fill-in starter Umude set for a spell on the sidelines. While Fournier is considered the favorite to start, Troy Brown Jr. played almost every minute of the game after Umude left in the third quarter and is another option to start, likely alongside Evbuomwan, who made his first career Detroit start on Wednesday.

If Gobert and Reid are both out again, expect the Wolves to return to the small lineup they used against Denver last time out with Anderson at the five. Luka Garza played 22 minutes off the bench in that game and could once again have a significant role in that event as the only true Wolves' big available.
Confirmed Lineup: Jordan Goodwin, John Konchar, GG Jackson, Santi Aldama, Jaren Jackson Jr.

With 13 Grizzlies on the injury report for Friday, there is once again uncertainty with the first five as Bane is likely to miss after returning and starting the last three contests at point guard. If available, Pippen Jr. is the favorite to enter that role after earning a start ahead of Jordan Goodwin on March 13. However, with questionable tags looming over both Pippen Jr. and Konchar, Goodwin and DeJon Jarreau could be ascended into more significant roles against the Wolves.
One Grizzly who has taken advantage of the team's injury situation in a big way is GG Jackson. Over his last six appearances (five starts), he's led the team in points (25.2) and minutes per game (35.9). He's coming off of a career-high 35-point performance against the Warriors, and he's shot 19-for-32 (59.4%) over his last two outings.
Confirmed Lineup: Tre Jones, Devin Vassell, Julian Champagnie, Jeremy Sochan, Victor Wembanyama
Zach Collins (concussion protocol) — Available
Charles Bassey (knee) — Out for season
Confirmed Lineup: CJ McCollum, Herb Jones, Trey Murphy III, Zion Williamson, Jonas Valanciunas
Brandon Ingram (knee) — Injured
Dyson Daniels (knee) — Injured
Ingram was helped to the locker room against Orlando on Thursday after appearing to hyperextend his left knee, leaving the game after 21 minutes. Further complicating the situation for the Pelicans is that the team is taking the court against Miami on the second night of a back-to-back, a situation that Williamson has been known to rest through on occasions this season. However, he has suited up in each of the last three occurrences, averaging 24.0 points in 33.8 minutes across those contests.
