Daniels hasn't played since the second week of February but is expected to return for the Pelicans' game against the Celtics. Before being sidelined, he was more involved than he had been in his rookie season. After averaging 17.7 minutes per contest last year, Daniels received 21.9 minutes per game this season before his injury occurred. New Orleans and Boston have been two of the league's best defensive teams this season, and the Pelicans will need to maintain that defensive success as the Celtics are scoring a league-high 122.9 points per game this month.

Coach Jenkins mentioned that Rose and Ziaire Williams are unlikely to return this season, adding to the long list of injury-related absences that Memphis has dealt with throughout the 2023-2024 campaign. The Grizzlies' depth will be tested against the Magic, who will be playing the second leg of a back-to-back set. Memphis has lost eight of its last 10 outings, posting the league's sixth-worst Net Rating (-10.7) in those games.

Damian Lillard (personal) — Out
The Bucks have gone 0-5 sans Lillard this season, averaging 11.5 fewer points per game in those outings. Antetokounmpo, if available, will likely garner more usage against the Hawks, as he's seen huge usage and production bumps in Lillard's absence this season. He's posted 33.0 points per contest on a team-high 39.0% usage in those games despite the Bucks going winless. Milwaukee will be tested against the Hawks, who are riding a four-game win streak, including two victories against the Celtics.
