  • Kevin Love (arm, ankle) — Available

  • Duncan Robinson (back) — Available

The Heat won seven of their final 10 games and finished the season at 46-36. Now, they'll open the postseason with a Play-In contest against the 76ers, who will have Joel Embiid (injury recovery) available. When asked about the challenge of playing against Embiid, coach Spoelstra noted that slowing him down is a challenge. "He can do it in all facets ... It has to be our best, most swarming version defensively with whatever game he’s bringing to it.” Miami and Philadephia tied the regular season series with two wins a piece.

Philadelphia 76ers News

Confirmed Lineup: Tyrese Maxey, Kyle Lowry, Kelly Oubre, Tobias Harris, Joel Embiid

  • Joel Embiid (injury recovery) — Will play

  • KJ Martin (toe) — Available

  • De'Anthony Melton (injury recovery) — Out

  • Robert Covington (knee) — Injured

Embiid is officially listed as questionable, but coach Nurse said he would play against Miami after being sidelined for the regular season finale. "He did everything at practice yesterday," Nurse said on Sunday. "He'll be ready to go [on Wednesday]." Embiid appeared in just one game against the Heat during the regular season, recording 29 points and four rebounds in 33 minutes. Miami could also be getting reinforcements as Duncan Robinson (back) should return after missing the final four games of the regular season, and his expected availability is critical as Terry Rozier (neck) remains sidelined.

Atlanta Hawks News

Confirmed Lineup: Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, Bogdan Bogdanovic, De'Andre Hunter, Clint Capela

  • Wesley Matthews (hamstring) — Not on injury report

  • Jalen Johnson (ankle) — Injured

  • Onyeka Okongwu (toe) — Injured

  • Saddiq Bey (knee) — Out for season

Chicago Bulls News

  • Ayo Dosunmu (quad) — Available

  • Andre Drummond (ankle) — Available

  • Julian Phillips (foot) — Injured

  • Zach LaVine (foot) — Out for season

  • Patrick Williams (foot) — Out for season

  • Lonzo Ball (knee) — Out for season

  • Onuralp Bitim (eye) — Out for season

The Bulls have dealt with injuries all year, losing multiple players for extended periods and others for the season. Still, they managed to stay competitive and will now face the Hawks in the Play-In. These teams match up well, and Chicago went 2-1 against Atlanta during the regular season. Look for DeRozan to lead the way in this contest, as power forwards scored the eighth-most points per game (24.7) against the Hawks during the 2023-2024 campaign. DeRozan scored a game-high 31 points in his most recent appearance versus Atlanta.
