Embiid returned Tuesday from an eight-week absence after suffering a left knee meniscus injury. He played 29 minutes while leading the team with a 39.4% usage rate. Coach Nurse believes it won't take Embiid long to improve his conditioning as the Sixers have six games remaining. However, he still finds himself questionable for injury recovery against the Heat, joining two of his highest profile teammates in Maxey and Harris with that tag. Notably, Philadelphia has a back-to-back set coming up on Saturday and Sunday at Memphis and at San Antonio.

Kuminga is officially listed questionable Thursday with bilateral knee tendonitis. He's missed the Warriors' last four games. However, before Tuesday's contest, coach Kerr said that Kuminga would be back in the lineup on Thursday. Trayce Jackson-Davis has started in the interim, and Kevon Looney has rejoined the rotation. Kuminga would likely return to a starting role if able to play against the Rockets.

Kawhi Leonard (knee) — Out
Josh Primo (ankle) — Out
Leonard has been ruled out for Thursday and will miss his second straight game with a sore right knee. Coach Lue revealed that Leonard is dealing with the new injury after Sunday's contest. At the time, he was hopeful Leonard would be able to suit up Thursday, but that evidently won't happen. Powell entered the starting lineup on Tuesday and scored 17 points in 28 minutes. Brandon Boston Jr. played 21 minutes off the bench. George and Harden should carry heavier workloads on Thursday with Leonard sidelined.
