The Cavs are set to host Boston for Game 4, but Mitchell's availability is in question as he's dealing with a strained left calf. It's unclear when the injury initially occurred. He's been great through the series' first three games, averaging 31.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per contest while shooting over 50.0% from the field and beyond the arc. It remains unclear when Allen will return to the court as he's missed the previous six outings. Dean Wade was available last game after being sidelined since March 10 but played just 16 minutes, even with Allen out.
Confirmed Lineup: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren
Confirmed Lineup: Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Derrick Jones Jr., PJ Washington, Daniel Gafford
Luka Doncic (knee, ankle) — In
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (ankle) — Out
Maxi Kleber (shoulder) — Injured
The Mavs won Game 3 despite Doncic battling through numerous ailments. He's dealing with the same injuries for Game 4, while the Thunder are fully healthy. Doncic needs to continue to get help from Irving and Washington after the three combined to score 71 points on 49.1% from the field in the previous outing. Dallas will likely keep utilizing an eight or nine-man rotation with Tim Hardaway Jr., Josh Green, and Dereck Lively II retaining their valuable roles off the bench. After doing so three times in the first round, Dante Exum hasn't played more than nine minutes in any game this series.
