The Bucks extended the series with their last win and will now attempt to force a Game 7. They'll likely remain without Giannis and Lillard for Game 6, which should force Middleton and Portis to retain their recently heightened offensive roles after combining for 58 points on 44 field goal attempts in the previous outing. Regarding Giannis and Lillard, coach Rivers hinted at a possible return for this contest after Game 5. "I think they’re very, very, very close," Rivers said. However, both ended up listed as doubtful for Thursday's outing.
Confirmed Lineup: Tyrese Haliburton, Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, Pascal Siakam, Myles Turner
Tyrese Haliburton (back) — Available
Bennedict Mathurin (shoulder) — Out for season
Haliburton landed on the injury report again but all signs point to him continuing to play through his ailment. He's been using a back pad while on the bench to help keep him comfortable. The Pacers have a great opportunity to end this series tonight at home as Milwaukee is expected to remain without its top two players. Indiana will need more production from Haliburton and Siakam than they got in Game 5 when the two players scored just 28 points on 42.3% shooting.
Confirmed Lineup: Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby, Isaiah Hartenstein
Mitchell Robinson (ankle) — Available
Bojan Bogdanovic (foot, wrist) — Out for season
Julius Randle (shoulder) — Out for season
It looked like the Knicks had the series wrapped up until Tyrese Maxey hit a late three-pointer from the logo in Game 5, which led to overtime, and ultimately a Sixers win. New York will now be back in a hostile environment in Philadelphia. Both teams have centers that have been playing through injuries, and Robinson's looked extremely hobbled at times in this first round. He also had a lapse in judgment late in Game 5 when he fouled Maxey on a three-point shot, leading to a four-point play that contributed to Philadelphia's win. "I’m just going to take it like a man,” Robinson said regarding the play. “I f–-ked up."
Confirmed Lineup: Tyrese Maxey, Kyle Lowry, Kelly Oubre, Tobias Harris, Joel Embiid
Robert Covington (knee) — Injured
