Minnesota Timberwolves News

Confirmed Lineup: Mike Conley, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert

The Wolves lost the series' first two outings in Minnesota. They'll be in Dallas to face the Mavs in what is all but a must-win Game 3. After the previous contest, Edwards said he won't overreact to being down two games and doesn't anticipate his teammates doing so either. "We've been here before," Edwards said. "I don't think anybody in the locker room is panicking. I hope not. Just come out and play our brand of basketball." He will likely need to be more efficient if the Wolves want to turn the series around as he's coming off a game where he shot 29.4% from the field, scoring 21 points in 40 minutes.

Dallas Mavericks News

Confirmed Lineup: Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Derrick Jones Jr., PJ Washington, Daniel Gafford

  • Olivier-Maxence Prosper (ankle) — Out

  • Maxi Kleber (shoulder) — Injured

Doncic is averaging 32.5 points and 10.5 assists over the first two games of the Western Conference Finals and has thoroughly outplayed Anthony Edwards. He and Irving continue to play with great chemistry and know when to let each other get going. After Doncic's game-winner in the previous outing, Irving commented on Doncic's greatness. "I'm amazed," Irving said. "Watching him ascend into becoming an all-time great is amazing and I don’t take it for granted because I played with one of the greatest of all time, arguably the greatest of all time." The Mavs can take a commanding 3-0 series lead as the series shifts back to Dallas.
