The home team has won every game in this series. The Cavs recorded a +7.4 Net Rating in those wins, but their 103.9 home Offensive Rating has been the third-worst of any team this postseason.
The Cavs are dealing with plenty of injuries. Allen missed the last two games and has had trouble lifting his arm. In the Game 6 loss, Mitchell aggravated a left knee ailment that sidelined him for most of the games post-All-Star break. Additionally, Mobley rolled his ankle in the first half and was gimpy after the game.
Mitchell noted after the loss:
“All the stuff you’ve done for six games really goes out the window. It’s all about desperation and will. How do we find ways to continually be relentless. I have no doubt that we’ll show up. I have no doubt Cleveland will show up.”
