After an intense series against Philadelphia, the Knicks are set to begin the second round versus the Pacers. Brunson was great for New York in Round 1, averaging 35.5 points per game and leading the team in scoring in five of the six outings. He scored 40 or more points in each of the final three contests including a 41-point performance in the closeout game. The Knicks went 1-2 against the Pacers during the regular season as Indiana scored 123.3 points per contest in those games.

Minnesota Timberwolves News

Denver Nuggets News

Confirmed Lineup: Jamal Murray, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Michael Porter Jr., Aaron Gordon, Nikola Jokic

  • Jamal Murray (calf) — Available

  • Vlatko Cancar (knee) — Injured

The Nuggets dropped the series' opening game, and Murray didn't quite look like himself throughout the contest. Since then, he's commented on his ailment, stating that he won't use it to justify the loss. "I'm not going to make no excuses, bro. Everybody has got nagging injuries," Murray said. "Everybody is playing through something at this point of the season. Obviously, it sucks, but it's not something that I enjoy talking about as part of the loss." Murray missed the last week of practice, but coach Malone is taking his point guard's injury in stride. "With Jamal, it’s just the situation we find ourselves in," Malone said. If Murray were sidelined, Reggie Jackson would likely draw a spot start at point guard. Jokic would garner increased usage after seeing a +4.3% usage rate differential sans Murray during the regular season.
