Seattle Storm News

Confirmed Lineup: Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jewell Loyd, Victoria Vivians, Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor

Indiana Fever News

Confirmed Lineup: Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Kristy Wallace, NaLyssa Smith, Aliyah Boston

  • Erica Wheeler (personal) — Out

  • Temi Fagbenle (foot) — Injured

  • Damiris Dantas (knee) — Injured

With Fagbenle sidelined for at least the next two weeks, Smith should get a chance to rejoin the first unit. While the season probably hasn't begun as she expected, she'll have an opportunity to step up and help her team against the Storm. In the last game, the Fever lost despite Clark posting 30 points. Afterward, Clark mentioned that regardless of her career night, it's tough to beat a team that's shooting as well as the Sparks were. "They shot it, obviously, tremendous from the 3-point line," Clark said. "It's just hard to win when they shoot 60% from three, and we shoot 38% from the field. It’s just hard to win basketball games like that."

Los Angeles Sparks News

Confirmed Lineup: Lexie Brown, Kia Nurse, Rickea Jackson, Dearica Hamby, Cameron Brink

  • Layshia Clarendon (concussion protocol) — Out

  • Azura Stevens (arm) — Injured

Jackson got her first career start in the previous game as the Sparks defeated the Fever. She played well, posting 12 points and two steals, while consistently getting to the free-throw line. She'll likely remain in the starting lineup again versus the Sky, who have lost three of their five games this season, including the previous two. Dearica Hamby should continue to lead the Sparks on both ends of the floor. She's averaging 20.0 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game to start the season.

Chicago Sky News
