Indiana Fever News

Confirmed Lineup: Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Kristy Wallace, NaLyssa Smith, Aliyah Boston

  • Temi Fagbenle (foot) — Injured

  • Damiris Dantas (knee) — Injured

The Fever and Sky are set to meet for the first time since the Chennedy Carter/Caitlin Clark incident that dominated sports media conversation back on June 1. The Fever have gone 3-2 over their last five outings, including that game, and are showing signs of progression after a 1-8 start.

While Clark will certainly be a player to watch in this game against the Sky, it was Boston who carried Indiana to a win in their last game, scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds against the Dream on Thursday. It was her season-high output in both categories, and the 27 points tied a career-high.

Seattle Storm News

Confirmed Lineup: Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jewell Loyd, Victoria Vivians, Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor

  • Mercedes Russell (illness) — Out

Phoenix Mercury News

Confirmed Lineup: Natasha Cloud, Diana Taurasi, Kahleah Copper, Rebecca Allen, Brittney Griner

The Mercury are coming off of one of the best games of the season on Thursday, albeit in a 103-99 losing effort to the Aces. The 202 total points in the contest represented the most scored in any single WNBA game this year. Griner was especially fantastic down low, scoring a season-high 25 points while adding nine rebounds.

After the game, coach Tibbets and numerous Mercury players spoke out about the officiating going against Phoenix, with Tibbets saying "I'm kind of at a loss for words" and Sophie Cunningham adding "The refs were awful tonight. Absolutely horrible."

Los Angeles Sparks News

Confirmed Lineup: Layshia Clarendon, Kia Nurse, Rickea Jackson, Dearica Hamby, Cameron Brink

  • Azurá Stevens (arm) — Injured

Atlanta Dream News

Confirmed Lineup: Haley Jones, Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard, Nia Coffey, Tina Charles

  • Jordin Canada (hand) — Injured

Coach Wright made a starting lineup change ahead of the Dream's last game on Thursday, bringing Cheyenne Parker-Tyus off the bench in favor of Coffey. Coffey scored four points with five assists and four rebounds in 23 minutes, while Parker-Tyus led all bench scorers in playing time and production with 18 points in 27 minutes. The Dream dropped that game to the Fever, and it remains to be seen if the lineup change will stick for this contest against the Sparks.
