Washington Mystics News

Confirmed Lineup: Julie Vanloo, Ariel Atkins, Karlie Samuelson, Aaliyah Edwards, Stefanie Dolson

  • Shakira Austin (hip) — Injured

  • Brittney Sykes (foot) — Injured

A poor start to the season for the Mystics has gotten worse with the revelation that Austin has no timetable for a return due to her ongoing hip issues. While she was participating in practice this week, coach Thibault said that she is still trying to find consistency on how she feels and how she recovers. This update came right after the news that Sykes had suffered a new injury to her foot that would keep her out for at least two weeks.

Washington is 2-12, last place in the league, but despite all this has somehow has won two straight games over the Dream and Sky. They'll have a tougher test ahead on Wednesday against the Fever, who have won four of their last six after starting the year 1-8.

Indiana Fever News

Confirmed Lineup: Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Kristy Wallace, NaLyssa Smith, Aliyah Boston

  • Temi Fagbenle (foot) — Injured

  • Damiris Dantas (knee) — Injured

Clark had perhaps her best game as a professional in Indiana's last outing, helping the Fever to a home win over the Sky while achieving something no rookie had ever done:

The stellar effort was coupled by another strong game from Boston, who recorded 19 points and 14 rebounds against Chicago, one game after totaling 27 and 13 against the Dream. Boston now has at least 12 rebounds in three straight games. She was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week as a result.

Atlanta Dream News

Confirmed Lineup: Haley Jones, Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard, Nia Coffey, Tina Charles

  • Aerial Powers (illness) — Out

  • Jordin Canada (hand) — Injured

Minnesota Lynx News

Confirmed Lineup: Courtney Williams, Kayla McBride, Bridget Carleton, Napheesa Collier, Alanna Smith

  • Bridget Carleton (elbow) — In

  • Diamond Miller (knee) — Injured

After Carleton was surprisingly downgraded from probable to out ahead of Monday's win over Dallas, Dorka Juhasz made her first start of the season, totaling 11 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Natisha Hiedeman was also probable headed into the game, but dressed and led the Lynx with 23 minutes off the bench, scoring 17 points.

Seattle Storm News

Confirmed Lineup: Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jewell Loyd, Victoria Vivians, Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor

Confirmed Lineup: Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young, Tiffany Hayes, A'ja Wilson, Kiah Stokes

  • Chelsea Gray (leg) — Not on injury report

  • Jessika Carter (signed) — Available

  • Kierstan Bell (leg) — Injured

Gray was "available" but did not play for the second game in a row on Saturday, as the Aces fell to the Liberty in a showcase rematch of the 2023 WNBA Finals. However, she is set to make her season debut in this contest against Seattle, as she was removed from the team's injury report and coach Hammon said "I intend on playing her a little bit [Wednesday] at different spots in the game."

Las Vegas is now 2-5 in its last seven outings and has tumbled to sixth place in the league at just 6-6 overall. The road doesn't get any easier, with home contests ahead this week against top-four teams in the Storm and the Sun.
