Arike Ogunbowale (Achilles) — In
Natasha Howard (foot) — In
Morgan Bertsch (signed) — Available
Kalani Brown (illness) — Out
Satou Sabally (shoulder) — Injured
Maddy Siegrist (finger) — Injured
Jaelyn Brown (illness) — Injured
The cavalcade of Dallas injuries continued this week with the news that Siegrist suffered a broken finger on her left hand during the first quarter of Monday's loss. A timeline for her return has not yet been determined. Morgan Bertsch has signed a hardship contract with the Wings as a result.
With three players confirmed out and Howard likely to remain absent as well, Ogunbowale's status is more important than ever. She missed the team's last game with a sore Achilles and was described as day-to-day earlier in the week.
Confirmed Lineup: Lindsay Allen, Marina Mabrey, Chennedy Carter, Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso
Diamond DeShields (ankle) — In
Elizabeth Williams (knee) — Injured
The Sky, losers of four in a row and six of seven, attempted to shake things up in their last game on Sunday against Indiana by starting Allen and Carter ahead of Dana Evans and Diamond DeShields. Allen was largely ineffective with just two points in 27 minutes, while Carter ranked second on the club in scoring with 18 points in 28 minutes.
Confirmed Lineup: Aari McDonald, Kia Nurse, Rickea Jackson, Dearica Hamby, Li Yueru
Cameron Brink (knee) — Out for season
Azura Stevens (arm) — Injured
Brink has been diagnosed with a torn left ACL. She suffered the injury during the first quarter of Tuesday's game at Connecticut. The team has not released any additional details, but her rookie season is surely over. She was also slated to participate in next month's Paris Olympics as part of the USA's 3x3 basketball team. The second overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Brink was off to a fantastic start to her professional career, especially on the defensive end. Her 2.3 blocks per game ranked third in the league and were on pace to be the third-most ever by a rookie, trailing only Margo Dydek and Brittney Griner. Yueru started the second half on Tuesday in Brink's place, and is presumably in line for an increased role.
Confirmed Lineup: Sabrina Ionescu, Kayla Thornton, Leonie Fiebich, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones
Betnijah Laney-Hamilton (knee) — Out
Courtney Vandersloot (personal) — Out
Nyara Sabally (back) — Out
