Atlanta Dream News

Confirmed Lineup: Haley Jones, Allisha Gray, Aerial Powers, Nia Coffey, Tina Charles

  • Maya Caldwell (signed) — Available

  • Rhyne Howard (ankle) — Injured

The Dream have lost three straight by double digits and last played on June 22. They swapped Crystal Dangerfield for Caldwell, who spent her rookie season in Atlanta. The injury to Howard offset the debut of Jordin Canada, who was limited to 14 minutes in Sunday’s loss.

Connecticut Sun News

Confirmed Lineup: Tyasha Harris, DiJonai Carrington, DeWanna Bonner, Alyssa Thomas, Brionna Jones

  • Moriah Jefferson (ankle) — Injured

Los Angeles Sparks News

Confirmed Lineup: Aari McDonald, Kia Nurse, Stephanie Talbot, Rickea Jackson, Dearica Hamby

  • Layshia Clarendon (illness) — Out

  • Lexie Brown (illness) — Out

  • Azura Stevens (arm) — Injured

  • Cameron Brink (knee) — Out for season

The Sparks face a Mercury team that defeated them by 19 points earlier in June. They will also conclude a seven-game road trip on which they have yet to win a game.

The Sparks will be without two of their top-three players in assist rate, and Brown’s absence will extend beyond the Olympic break. Zia Cooke will have more opportunities but expect Hamby and McDonald to handle playmaking chances.

Without Brink the last two games, both losses to the Liberty, the Sparks have been unable to maintain their stellar rebound rate. Li Yueru has played less than 16 minutes in each contest as the interim starter and averaged half as many rebounds per 100 possessions in her new role. Stephanie Talbot was one of two players in WNBA history to tally at least 11 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and two steals as a reserve in the previous game.

Phoenix Mercury News

Confirmed Lineup: Natasha Cloud, Diana Taurasi, Kahleah Copper, Rebecca Allen, Brittney Griner

  • Sug Sutton (hamstring) — Not on injury report
