Dallas Wings News

Confirmed Lineup: Jacy Sheldon, Arike Ogunbowale, Satou Sabally, Natasha Howard, Teaira McCowan

The Wings were fully healthy for the first time in a long time on Tuesday at New York with Maddy Siegrist back in the lineup, but it was more of the same as Dallas dropped to 6-21 with a loss to the Liberty. The Wings, Sparks, and Mystics are all tied at the bottom of the league with six wins apiece. On the bright side for Dallas, Sabally has not missed a beat, scoring 20 or more points in each of her two appearances. She has played 36 minutes in each game and has shown no limitations since returning to action during the Olympics.

New York Liberty News

Confirmed Lineup: Courtney Vandersloot, Kayla Thornton, Leonie Fiebich, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones

  • Sabrina Ionescu (neck) — Out

  • Leonie Fiebich (rib) — Available

  • Betnijah Laney-Hamilton (knee) — Injured

The Liberty continue to show resilience, defeating the Wings in the first game of this repeat set on Tuesday despite not having Ionescu in the lineup and losing Fiebich to a rib injury for most of the contest. Stewart, Jones, and Vandersloot all recorded double-doubles in the win. Kennedy Burke was also crucial off the bench, notching a season-high 13 points in 25 minutes. New York remains the league leader in Offensive Rating (107.8) and Net Rating (+13.5).
