Make sure you're following Underdog NFL on Twitter to get notifications on NFL news, training camp reports, and preseason data. I'll be posting things there in August.
1. How many games, if any, is Deshaun Watson going to miss?
Legal experts believe it will take about two weeks for Judge Sue Robinson to write her argument after receiving the final reports from Watson and the NFL, which pushes the suspension to late July. It's a mystery if he'll get an indefinite full-season suspension, a multi-game 2022 suspension, or if he'll dodge a suspension entirely after the NFL focused on just four of the dozens and dozens of cases. In my opinion, the Underdog Fantasy market is currently baking in a near full-year suspension, as Watson, Amari Cooper, David Njoku, and David Bell have seen their ADPs plummet throughout June and July. Anything under 8 games will move these players back up the list.
Partially answered August 1st - Watson's suspension is currently set for 6 games, but the NFL can appeal. If so, Roger Goodell or a designee have the ability to change the suspension length as they see fit. The NFL clearly wanted a full-season suspension and the written report by Judge Sue Robinson argues there is enough evidence in breaking the conduct policy in multiple ways. The NFL has three days (August 4th) to make their appeal decision, and if they do appeal it, we should expect a longer than 6-game suspension for Watson a couple of weeks later. This story isn't over until we hear the NFL's appeal decision.
2. How many games, if any, is Alvin Kamara going to miss?
We should have a great idea on if Kamara is getting suspended shortly after August 1st, as that's when his pre-trail negotiation date is set. Unless the alleged assault video is leaked (who knows) or unless this case gets settled quickly (unlikely), Kamara's NFL investigation could get pushed into the 2023 offseason. Kamara's ADP has dropped by one round since reports of a possible 6-game suspension surfaced. Whether that happens in 2022 or 2023 is the news we're waiting for. There are game theory reasons to take Kamara in Best Ball Mania III right now. ... At the same time, is Mark Ingram going to hold onto the RB2 job or is there another veteran who will be brought in? I'm guessing it'll be Ingram.
Partially answered August 1 - Kamara and the alleged victim didn't appear in court because their attorneys are delaying the next step in the case another 60 days. That improves the odds Kamara is available early in the season, though things could change if the video is released or if things get settled. Of course, a late-season suspension can't be entirely ruled out. For now, this is a slight win for Kamara's 2022 fantasy value.
3. What are the 49ers doing with Jimmy Garoppolo?
Jimmy G began throwing weeks ago and should pass a physical shortly, which could get the ball rolling on a potential trade. The 49ers reporters believe the Browns are the best landing spot, assuming Deshaun Watson faces a large suspension. Cleveland has the cap space and win-now mentality to make a move in late July or early August. At the same time, most of Garoppolo's contract is non-guaranteed, so the 49ers could straight release him. Maybe he'd be a good fit with Seattle then. The worst case outcome for fantasy purposes is if the 49ers ask Jimmy G to take a pay cut to remain with the team. Then we're back to the same Lance vs. Jimmy G that we had last year. Ultimately, I think he goes to the Browns via trade or the Seahawks via release, and I'm hoping it's Seattle for rivalry and saving Metcalf/Lockett purposes.
Partially answered July 26th - Shanahan officially called this Trey Lance's team and said that they are hoping to trade Jimmy G. A trade or release will happen before Week 1, when some of his contract would guarantee. Lance's ADP will climb to Jalen Hurts by mid-August.
4. Is Travis Etienne healthy? Is James Robinson avoiding the reserve/PUP list?
Etienne was practicing in OTAs, so most likely, he'll be fully cleared by the end of training camp. J-Rob is far less certain, as he just started running and is facing a torn Achilles suffered Christmas of last year. I project Robinson to miss the first month of the season, which is why I'm high on Snoop Conner as a last-round pick in Best Ball Mania III. If the season started today, Conner could be the goal-line back and Etienne handcuff.
Answered July 25th - Robinson beat expectations by a lot, avoiding even training camp PUP. He is on track to play early in 2022 (just maybe not at full strength). That hurts Etienne a bit, who climbed from Round 5 to Round 3 recently. I'm expecting Etienne to be a Round 4 pick later in August.
5. Are J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards avoiding the reserve/PUP list?
Neither practiced in OTAs and are both coming off significant injuries. Dr. Winks understands that Dobbins suffered a torn ACL and LCL, which is relatively rare and definitely not great. We'll see how much they practice in August with some odds of them missing the first four games of the NFL season on the PUP list. If so, is Mike Davis or Tyler Badie the RB3?
6. How are Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon splitting reps?
Based on their ADPs, it's assume that Williams is getting at least a 60/40 split with the upside for more. I'm assuming Williams takes on more than the 1B role he had last year, but is he the goal-line back? Is he playing the two-minute drill? Is Gordon playing the second or third series in each half? The exact details will help median projections. Both Williams and Gordon have excellent ceilings in the event of an injury. MGIII is one of my favorite BBMIII picks.
7. How are Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson splitting reps?
Akers was given a bellcow role in the playoffs despite being six months removed a torn Achilles. He was quite bad but had the offseason to recover and continue rehab. The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue believes the plan is for Akers to handle more passing-down duties and to be the guy. Will his body hold up? The Rams don't play their studs in preseason, so I'll be boots on the ground at UC Irvine grinding practice snaps. Reporter Winks has your back this August.
8. Is Ezekiel Elliott healthy? Will Tony Pollard play more or less than last year?
Congrats, you are very unique in thinking Zeke is washed. But what if,,,,, Zeke's drop in efficiency was due to a partially torn knee ligament and he's healthier in 2022? It's possible but under-discussed, as we get more RTs and Likes when we shit on him on the bird app. If it's still bothering him, then yes, Pollard will smash this year as they have less talent on offense and will have no choice but to play their most explosive players. I'll be looking to see how many passing-down snaps, in particular, Pollard is playing. The goal-line role seems pretty cemented in Zeke's favor.
9. Is Chris Godwin starting on reserve/PUP?
A multi-ligament (ACL and MCL) knee surgery that was done early January is typically enough to brace for a season-opening stint on the reserve/PUP. There's some optimism that won't be the case here, but injury recoveries tend to be optimistic. The market has adjusted for some early-season missed time, as Godwin's ADP has dropped and Russell Gage's ADP has climbed. That could swing back if Godwin is practicing by mid-August. For now, I think Godwin's ADP is fair because we are playing for a late-season push on Underdog Fantasy, but we need to make sure to add some WRs who project well early on to make sure our Godwin teams aren't dusted in the regular season. I'm guessing he misses some time and needs another few weeks before getting close to his usual self in November and December.
Answered July 26th - Godwin is ahead of schedule, avoiding training camp PUP. He'll likely play Week 1, just maybe not at 100% health, especially with Julio Jones offering even more depth. Godwin will be a Round 5 pick for the rest of the offseason.
10. Is Michael Thomas healthy?
Nick Underhill is hearing optimistic things with his recovery. The videos Thomas has posted and the analysis of the online doctors are less bullish. Dr. Winks is trying to figure this out, but this one feels like a true impossible prediction. If he's healthy, he's dropped too far in ADP. If he's not, then Chris Olave and Jarvis Landry are undervalued. In general, the Saints are a complete wild card team before training camp.
Answered July 27th - Thomas is off training camp PUP, officially participating in individual drills. They will ramp up his work the rest of camp, putting him on track for Week 1. Underhill doesn't miss.
11. Where is Julio Jones signing?
I'm hoping Green Bay. I think he has gas left in the tank (see below), and I think he'll want to play for a contender. The Packers need an outside presence. He'd run laps around Sammy at this point. The Cowboys and Chargers also make sense to me.
Answered July 26th - This wasn't the best landing spot possible (Green Bay), but a $6M contract with Tom Brady is certainly a win. He'll be a rotational WR3/4 depending on health. Julio and Gage will likely rotate on the perimeter late in the season once Godwin is back to a full-time role. Julio could climb into the 130s in ADP. Gage will drop from Round 6 to at least Round 8.
12. Where is Will Fuller signing?
He has deleted social media, and there hasn't been a credible report on his status since he had another surgery on his finger right after last season. I'm not sure he plays football again. We'll see. Perhaps he's waiting for Deshaun Watson news.
13. Is Michael Gallup starting on reserve/PUP? Who is the Cowboys’ WR3?
Most Cowboys reporters are expecting Gallup to miss the first month or so of the regular season. If not, then his ADP is too low, but his rehab timeline does link up with an October return and another month of getting up to game speed. That opens up the door for the elite CeeDee Lamb breakout season and for a no-name Dallas WR to emerge. The best bet is third-round rookie Jalen Tolbert, who I project to start at X receiver with Gallup sidelined. Tolbert will need to beat out James Washington to keep that starting job once Gallup is cleared. Washington missed offseason time with injury and is making less than the Best Ball Mania III winner.
Partially answered August 1st - Gallup said it's unrealistic for him to be available for Week 1.
14. Where are the Broncos’ WRs lining up?
From my Splits To Know column: "In the nine games when all three were “healthy” together last year, it was: Tim Patrick (6.9 half PPR per game), then Jerry Jeudy (6.2), and then Courtland Sutton (2.9). I find this interesting, but this will probably be less predictive than the other splits for a few obvious reasons. One, Russell Wilson. Two, new coaching staff. And three, injuries. Sutton was reportedly struggling coming off a torn ACL, Jeudy was playing through a high-ankle sprain, and K.J. Hamler was inactive due to a multi-ligament knee injury paired with a dislocated hip (seriously one of the gnarliest injuries and a reminder of what he’s trying to return from this year).
Besides health, the thing to look for in training camp and the preseason is alignment in formation. During this 2021 late-season stretch, the Broncos’ 2-WR sets featured Patrick (42 routes) and Sutton (41) per SIS, not Jeudy (14) probably because of size and run blocking. But in 3-WR sets, Jeudy earned more targets (41) than Sutton (27) and Patrick (25). This suggests that Jeudy probably has the highest ceiling here, but he needs to sneak into 2-WR sets and Hamler can’t be a slot-snap spoiler for that ceiling to be unlocked. Between the two, Sutton is a tad safer for now, but all Broncos receivers are being priced up: Sutton (37th overall), Jeudy (43rd), Patrick (120th), and Hamler (172nd)."
15. Where are the Cardinals’ WRs lining up?
From my Splits To Know column: "Rondale Moore’s usage and production didn’t increase much without Hopkins last year. He ran a route on 70%, 87%, 33%, 48%, and 29% of dropbacks in regular season games that Hopkins missed. 50.7% in total over this stretch, and that includes the 87% game where A.J. Green was also inactive. Then with the season on the line in the playoffs, Moore ran a route on 46% of dropbacks. Simply put, the Cardinals viewed Moore as a gadget-only player, not even a slot receiver, last year. There’s reasonable odds he plays more prototypical slot in his second NFL season, but we are waiting for reports on where Marquise Brown will play following the trade. Hollywood can play outside, but his petite frame is best suited for a vertical slot role (read: 2021 Christian Kirk). For Moore to hold any half PPR value, the late-season lineup must be: Hopkins (X), Brown (Z), Moore (slot). But it’s possible that it’s a frustrating amount of: Hopkins (X), Green (Z), Brown (slot), Moore (gadget). … Oh, yeah. They could use more 2-WR sets with the addition of 2nd round TE Trey McBride. In half PPR best ball, I’m mostly out on Moore’s WR55 (118th overall) price tag."
16. Where are the Chiefs’ WRs lining up?
Marquez Valdes-Scantling is the only Chiefs WR who fills the deep-threat role on the perimeter (and he makes the most money by far), so I think his role is safe. JuJu Smith-Schuster the starting slot WR and likely physical enough for 2-WR sets, so I think his role is safe. The final starting WR spot is likely between largely-gadget hybrid Mecole Hardman and second-round rookie Skyy Moore, who was the WR15 in his own draft class. I'm anticipating Hardman starting in training camp and early in the season, with Moore emerging as a more full-time player later on. We need to confirm that Moore isn't viewed as a slot-only player in camp, as that could mean he's the 2023 game plan after JuJu's one-year deal is up. If he starts by Preseason Week 3, Twitter will not be able to contain themselves.
17. Where are the Packers’ WRs lining up?
Allen Lazard's role seems relatively safe after Aaron MFin Rodgers called him the No. 1 receiver. Lazard has inside/outside versatility, as do veterans Randall Cobb and Sammy Watkins. Those two will compete with youngsters Christian Watson (outside only), Romeo Doubs (inside/outside), and Amari Rodgers (slot only). It's possible, if not likely, that Watson is a backup in camp and early in the season. That'll especially be the case if a (actually good) veteran is brought in, like Julio Jones or Will Fuller. For now, I'm anticipating Lazard (X), Watkins/Watson (Z), and Cobb (slot) in the rotation.
18. Where are the Patriots’ WRs lining up?
DeVante Parker's size and compensation are enough for me to confidently project him as an every-down receiver, specifically at X. Jakobi Meyers is clearly the best slot fit in 3-WR sets, but will he remain in 2-WR sets? That'll be important as both Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith are handsomely paid. Meyers will compete for that every-down role with Kendrick Bourne (inside/outside), Nelson Agholor (deep-threat Z), and Tyquan Thornton (deep-threat Z). Ultimately, I expect a rotation between Meyers, Bourne, and Agholor to start the season. Maybe Thornton shows enough during his Post-Bye Rookie Bump. Look for "Parker is the key WR in training camp" blurbs. They're coming. Get ahead of his way-too-low ADP now.
19. Where are the Jets’ WRs lining up?
Elijah Moore is an absolute dog, and not just inside. He can play outside. The question is if he'll play in 2-WR sets with true outside WR Corey Davis and primarily outside WR Garrett Wilson competing for snaps. For Moore to pay off his ADP, he needs to be an every-down player, which also means keeping quietly well-paid slot Braxton Berrios on the sideline. Ultimately, I'm worried that Wilson is going to be in too much of a rotation (in a projected unfriendly fantasy offense) to pay off his ADP. I can see it being Moore and Davis in 2-WR sets, which matters a lot in this offense that has 2 TEs, 2 RBs, and a FB in the rotation.
20. Can Treylon Burks breathe? Is Robert Woods avoiding reserve/PUP?
The answer to the first question in mini-camp and OTAs was no. Titans reporters don't believe that was an asthma thing only either. They thought he was just out of shape, something that happened at time at Arkansas, too. Burks needs to work with the ones in camp to have an early-season role, especially because he was more or less a manufactured slot and gadget WR in college. We shouldn't expect him crushing on the outside right away.
Robert Woods was moving around in OTAs, but he was still clearly in rehab with a slight limp based on the video I saw. There's optimism he'll avoid the reserve/PUP list, but injury timelines are prone to be overly optimistic. We'll learn more late in camp. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is the name to know just in case stuff goes sideways here. This blurb is also why I'm very high on Austin Hooper as a TE3 in Best Ball Mania III.
Answered July 26th - Burks is breathing and passed conditioning tests, while Woods is operating at 90%. Both remain on track for Week 1 starting snaps. Burks' ADP is likely to rebound. Get some exposure now if you're interested.
21. How are Ken Walker and Rashaad Penny splitting reps?
Pete Carrol wants to establish the damn run, and he has two potential studs to do it. The median outcome is that Penny is the starter in camp and early in the season before Walker shreds following the Post-Bye Rookie Bump. It'll be a surprise and big ADP mover if Walker is starting in camp.
22. Where is Deebo Samuel playing?
First off, is it for the 49ers on a new contract? Secondly, is he playing RB snaps still or was that mostly a product of fluky RB injuries last year? My guess is that he gets a bigger deal once Jimmy G's contract is handled and that he mostly plays on the outside in 2022. Hopefully we get answers early, as Samuel's in-flux contract is one of the only ones that I could see getting weird this camp.
23. Where is Clyde Edwards-Helaire playing?
Ronald Jones is making less than the Best Ball Mania III winner, but he could push CEH on early-downs and at the goal line. Jerick McKinnon is also slightly-paid, but he could push CEH on passing-downs, just like he did in the Chiefs' playoff run last year. Is CEH good enough in either role to be impactful for fantasy? Or are we overestimating how much RoJo and McKinnon are going to keep a former first-round pick off the field. We better get this right, as we're talking about the league's best offense's RB here.
24. Where is Cordarrelle Patterson playing?
His role changed throughout all of last year, going from WR to third-down RB to early-down grinder. He's best used as a 1A RB who only loses early-down snaps between the 20s, but we'll see how much middling rookie Tyler Allgeier offers.
25. Who is calling the Patriots’ plays? Is the offense changing?
The current guess is Joe Judge with Matt Patricia handling the run-game, but Belichick will certainly be involved, as will backup QB/OC Brian Hoyer. Mac Jones earned more pass attempts with his play during his rookie season, and there are signs that more spread concepts are coming instead of being among the league's highest run teams -- FB Jakob Johnson was released and was not replaced, DeVante Parker's trade gives them a true X WR, and Tyquan Thornton adds needed speed. I can see Mac Jones throwing the ball 50-100 more times this year.
26. Who is starting, Kenny Pickett or Mitch Trubisky?
In fantasy, this really only affects how often we should be drafting either of these QBs in Round 17/18 in Best Ball Mania III to round out Steelers stacks. Trubisky is going into camp as the starter and presumed Week 1 signal caller, but I can see Pickett threatening him in camp. I thought Pickett was under-appreciated in the pre-draft process.
27. Will Baker Mayfield beat out Sam Darnold before Week 1?
This only matters for QB3 stacks in Best Ball Mania III, and the market is already assuming it'll be Baker. I tend to agree.
28. Who is the Seahawks’ QB?
For now, Geno Smith is a slight favorite over Drew Lock, but neither have much financial backing and Jimmy Garoppolo could be in play, especially if he's released. Neither are good bets in fantasy land, so it's really about getting functional QB play to get DK Metcalf back into the WR2 mix and Tyler Lockett back into the WR3/flex mix. Their ADPs have plummeted since the beginning of the offseason. You can read about their Russell Wilson splits here.
29. Who is the Bills’ starting slot WR?
The starting slot WR for the Bills averaged 8.9 half PPR points on 9.8 expected half PPR points last season. Most of that came from Cole Beasley with a few spiked weeks out of Isaiah McKenzie sprinkled in. The Athletic reports that it’s a toss up between Jamison Crowder and McKenzie for the starting nod in 2022. This is a key training camp battle in the best ball streets. Get some free McKenzie while you can.
30. Is Albert O the Broncos’ full-time TE?
Broncos reporter Mike Klis believes Albert O will lose a few snaps to Greg Dulcich early on and could lose lots of snaps later in the season, as Dulcich offers more between the 20s receiving ability than the big fella. With at least 3 capable WRs and 2 capable RBs, I'm not sold on Albert O as a top-16 fantasy TE, especially if Klis is correct.
31. Is Cameron Brate the Bucs’ full-time TE?
Gronk just said he's not coming back, echoing what Mike Evans thought last week. Brate is more undersized than most starting TEs, but he has all the opportunity possible to be fantasy viable in this offense. Brate can line up in the slot, which is a positive, but will Cade Otton or last-minute free agent enter the mix in run looks? I think they'll rely on Brate.
Answered July 24th - Brate will face competition from Kyle Rudolph, who adds more size and blocking to the group. This isn't a consensus opinion, but Brate remains the best receiving tight end on the team and could still luck into 6-8 TDs as a TE3 option in the last couple rounds. Rudolph was pretty dusty in 2021.
32. Where is Taysom Hill playing?
Jameis Winston and Andy Dalton are the QBs, but Nick Underhill believes Taysom will get legit action at TE this year, plus has the 1-in-100 chance of drawing a start at QB. Hill could be involved in the red zone as a gadget player, especially if Alvin Kamara is suspended. I have officially been Taysom pilled as a reasonable TE3 in BBMIII.
Answered July 26th - Hill is expected to play TE, but Underhill believes Hill will also see gadget work at QB like we saw with Sean Payton. Hill is a potential cheat code at TE, plus has some level of a floor based on red zone work and schemed up catches. I've been Taysom Pilled officially.
33. Is Robert Tonyan starting on reserve/PUP?
This could go either way, and it's important to track given how weak the Packers' WRs are. If there is a setback, the deeeeeeeeep sleeper is Tyler Davis, who was getting hype in OTAs.
34. Is Jameson Williams starting on reserve/PUP?
The beat reporters believe this is a near lock. In fact, most beats believe the Lions will play the long game and let D.J. Chark operate as the every-down player even when Williams returns to the field. We'll see if Williams practices at all this August. I'm anticipating an October or November return for the rookie that I loved pre-draft. For now, Chark is a fantasy value.
35. Are you reading this? Still?? I'm impressed.
36. Will Kareem Hunt or D’Ernest Johnson get traded?
The Browns have too much invested into RB. Hunt has no guaranteed money, meaning he is both a trade and cut candidate. Johnson is on a cheaper deal but isn't as good as Hunt on passing downs. Does a team need a banger like Johnson following a training camp injury? We'll find out.
37. Who is the Patriots’ passing down RB?
Is James White going to play again following a very serious hip injury. He was left off ESPN's Mike Reiss' 53-man projection because of this. That opens up third-down snaps with Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson both capable. It's possible JJ Taylor or one of the Day 3 rookies takes over that Brandon Bolden role from last year. I hope it's one of the top two backs instead.
38. Who is the Dolphins’ goal line RB?
Chase Edmonds has never had an early-down role, so let's pivot to Raheem Mostert and Sony Michel. It's possible all three rotate and specific roles with Edmonds on passing downs, Mostert between the 20s on outside runs, and Michel at the goal line. That's why I'm out on this backfield.
39. Who is Leonard Fournette’s backup RB?
Giovani Bernard is not a lock to make the roster and is unlikely to be an early-down option anyways. I'm interested in both Rashad White and Ke'Shawn Vaughn for very different reasons. White, I think, is good. Vaughn, I think, is bad. BUT Vaughn is more experienced, has the size of a potential three-down option, and is going largely undrafted in BBMIII. He has leverage off Fournette and White. Mix in all of the Bucs RBs because this offense is fantasy RB gold.
40. Who is James Conner’s backup RB?
Reports suggest it's Eno Benjamin, who I think is better than min-priced Darrell Williams. There's also Keonatay Ingram, but for now, it's Benjamin. He had a bellcow role at Arizona State. There's upside here.
41. Who is Najee Harris’ backup RB?
Right now, it's tone-setter Benny Snell, who has slimmed down this offseason to get faster. He needed to do that. I do think he's very interesting in BBMIII because he's going extremely undrafted and is only competing with undersized Anthony McFarland for No. 2 duties. It's possible that the Steelers bring in a veteran, but this is Snell's role for now.
42. Who is Eli Mitchell’s backup RB?
Mitchell provides the elite speed that Shanahan likes to have on outside zone and pitches. He also ran between the tackles pretty well, so I'm anticipating a big season when healthy from him. There could be a slight 1B, however, and I'm guessing that'll be a bruiser type. Ty Davis-Price is the market's bet on who that will be, but I don't think he necessarily has that much better odds than either Trey Sermon or Jeff Wilson. TDP is relatively inexperienced and missed OTAs with an injury. He needs to be out there in camp to have a chance at the RB2 job.
43. Who is Joe Mixon’s backup RB? Is Mixon playing passing downs?
The Underdog Football Show is on team Chris Evans, who could be the passing down back in addition to having studly upside if Mixon were to ever miss time. Samaje Perine is far less athletic than Evans and isn't under contract beyond this season. I'd be surprised if there wasn't positive buzz out of camp with Evans.
44. Who is Derrick Henry’s backup RB?
Dontrelle Hilliard is a low-paid backup who likely spells Henry on passing downs. If Henry were to miss time, Hilliard would have some type of role, but will he handle goal line? That's where tone-setting Mike Vrabel-friendly DOG Hassan Haskins comes into play. I'm projecting Haskins as Henry's early-down backup, with Hilliard keeping his third down role.
45. Who is the Browns’ WR2 and WR3?
Behind Amari Cooper are outside X Donovan Peoples-Jones and slot options David Bell and Anthony Schwartz. DPJ fits the best ball format better and is most likely to start in 2-WR sets given his physicality, yet Bell goes earlier. Bell will have to beat out the far faster Schwartz in training camp to have an early-season role. Will it even matter if Deshaun Watson is suspended? I'm sprinkling in DPJ, avoiding Bell/Schwartz, and targeting David Njoku for now.
46. Who is the Ravens’ WR2?
Devin Duvernay, who can play on the inside or outside, is the current favorite. But can primary slot option James Proche or injury-zapped speedster Tylan Wallace make a push? Or will it be a Julio Jones or Will Fuller style veteran? The fact that we're down this bad shows how good of a set up Rashod Bateman has going into year two. I love stacking Lamar Jackson and Bateman, especially if the Ravens RBs aren't as healthy as we'd hoped.
47. Who is the Falcons’ WR2 and WR3?
Given the trade and his pre-draft profile, Bryan Edwards likely has one of these starting spots. But can undersized Olamide Zaccheus hold off Auden Tate and others? This will only help us round out a potential Pitts/London/Mariota stack, so really... who cares?
48. How do the 3rd Round rookie QBs look? Desmond Ridder? Malik Willis? Matt Corral?
There have been only 15 QBs who were drafted in the third round to eclipse 50 fantasy points as a rookie in NFL history, yet I see these types of QBs go in BBMIII and too early in Superflex. Are these QBs locks to be the QB2 on their own team? Are they getting any first-team reps? There's a reason why every NFL team passed on these players. Most likely, they will be unheard from.
49. Why did I write a top-50 training camp preview?
50. Seriously, why did I write a top-50 training camp preview?
