There's only one thing lamer than reading a fantasy football rankings column in January. It's writing it. This is an absurd thing to do before the franchise tag deadline, NFL free agency, and the NFL Draft, but we at Underdog Fantasy will have best ball contests well before that. For that, we love UD. And for that, we must get some intros done for the upcoming season.

To be completely open, I haven't watched or done any research on the incoming rookies other than looking at these consensus rankings and following some accounts on Twitter that are draft obsessed. In February, March, and April I'll have more takes on prospects than you can imagine. Follow along here:

1. WR1 Ja'Marr Chase - 25yo coming off a Triple Crown (7.5-100-1).

2. RB1 Saquon Barkley - 146 total YPG and only RB above 20.0 half PPR.

3. WR2 Puka Nacua - 98 YPG in 11 healthy ones. Kupp trade candidate.

4. RB2 Jahmyr Gibbs - Last 4: with Monty (20.75 opps), without (23.25).

5. RB3 Bijan Robinson - 21.1 HPPR (RB3) from Week 10 on. Enters prime.

6. WR3 Justin Jefferson - 90 YPG in aerial offense. Sam > "rookie" JJ.

7. WR4 Nico Collins - 91 YPG in 12 healthy ones. Diggs and Tank kneeless.

19. RB8 Jonathan Taylor - Distant RB5 capped by 18 receptions + AR15.

21. WR11 A.J. Brown - WR11 in Weeks 1-15 with Hurts. Worse in postseason.

22. QB1 Lamar Jackson - 25.6 FPPG. Next closest QB? Josh Allen at 22.7.
